: In the first Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup, the Indian women's team will go out for the title today. The opponent in the final is England.
The final is at 5.15 pm. Indian captain Shefali Verma is aiming to win the title on his 19th birthday. India reached the final by defeating New Zealand by eight wickets. England reach the semi-finals after defeating Australia by three runs.
India's hope is the form of Shweta Sehrawat and Soumya Tiwary. The main problem is that senior players Shefali and Richa Ghosh are not consistent. Among the bowlers, Parshavi Chopra is in terrific form. Shefali's deliveries also give India confidence. India lost only to Australia in the tournament. India suffered a seven-wicket defeat in the first match of the Super Six.
India entered the final by defeating New Zealand by eight wickets. New Zealand lost the toss and came into bat and scored 107 runs for the loss of nine wickets. In reply, India overcame the target with the loss of two wickets in 14.2 overs. Shweta Sehrawat (61 not out from 45 balls) is India's top scorer. Earlier, Parshavi Chopra took three wickets to destroy New Zealand.
